Fosdinovo's village
The village, in the North/West of the Tuscany, was of fundamental importance defending the borders by inland attacks in the medieval age.
The castle, now completely restored, was built in the XII century and, later, in 1340, was purchased and enlarged by Malaspina family and still belong to them in the present days.
The castle and its legends oblige the visitors of Lunigiana to spend a couple of hours here.
Every year, in the first week-end of July, there is the Medieval Feast, which evoques stories of battles involving the Malaspina family.
